Looks dose number eight will be the last one my old body will be able to tolerate. My blood pressure this morning was 85 over 58, and my creatinine logged in as 2.4. So with these alarming numbers and despite my pleas to continue. The next dose, number eight, will be last one for part A of round one. They’re giving me a bolus of fluids to attempt to drive up my blood pressure before the 8th dose will be given.
I’m as red as a beet pretty much all over my body. Jill says it looks like I went into a tanning booth naked and stayed in the for way too long. The rash is maddeningly itchy and if if I give in to the urge to scratch it, I’m in for a few hours of clawing myself. Although I didn’t really want to end at dose eight, I know my bod had been clear about what it can take. We’ve listened. I’m hopeful that the doses I have gotten in have done what they’re supposed to do. We’ll know in a few weeks at the end of the B part of round one.
We’re scheduled to begin the second part of round one on September 17. I honestly don’t know how I’m going to get my weak ass self out of this bed and get into the car.
That’s all I’ve got for now.
